Not a bad little lens for $350 on ebay. I gave it a little help cranking up the detail, v detail and reduced coring. Of course weakest @ 400mm but holding up nicely until around 350mm. Good lens to have in your kit when you need that extra reach. But at f-4.5/5.6 I'd only use it outdoors. But I shot this early morning so there wasn't a ton of light.

Really love this. I just bought a Tokina 80-200mm F2.8 on ebay for 275.00 I also bought an old canon 2XB 2x Tele extender to get an effective range of 160 all the way out to 800mm on the AF100 anywhere from 2.8 to 5.6. Now Im looking around for a really sturdy head to compensate for lack of OIS in the lense. Any suggestions? What did you use?

I'm kinda of spoiled...Sachtler 18 III. But I've used O'Conners and Millers too. Check out ebay, but be careful, you don't want to purchase a head that needs rebuilding...very expensive.

Some nice shots in there-thanks.
Wish you'd pulled back on a couple of them so I could gauge how much reach you were able to enjoy.
