Toast Convert Audio alignment issue?

Hi,

I just got my hmc150 and have a dual g5 and was using toast to convert the footage (the latest version) and the audio is out of alignment. Any ideas on how to fix that? I am just taking the transcend 16gb card out of the camera and plugging into my card reader then use toast to find the files on the card and import to prores422 uncompressed audio and even tried aac 320kpbs and still out of alignment.

I dont use prores but id imagine the audio is PCM 16bit 48k.

Matt. Could you tell us the settings that you are using in toast 9?

I have been transcoding to AIC 1280X720 24p and DVCPROHD. Both use PCM 16bit 48k audio.

I've only tried prores so far but the formats have been 720p60 and 1080p30 and in both the audio is way off. Not too bad to fix in post but seems a bit inconvenient.

I only shoot in 24p and havent had single sync issue with converting and toast.
in the conversion custom settings in toast my audio looks like this

Format: Liner PCM
Channels: Stereo
Rate: 48.000
Render quality: Normal
Liner PCM settings: Sample size 16

Make sure your FCP sequence settings match as well.

Try setting the video framerate differently. I manually type in 23.976 for the framerate. This might work!

Okay thanks, I'll give that a try...copying some footage for conversion now...
