"Get in my Car." Number #1 hit in Germany. So funny no one even knows he's a singer over here. LOL. This is great. How'd you get the Hoff?

He's just a nice, cool guy who was down to help out some kids who wanted to make a movie. He's a family friend of Sebastian's (the director), and he just called him up one day and asked.. and he said yes!

What to you mean by "in the can?" Doesn't that usually just mean finishing the film? It is finished, we're just hoping to debut at Sundance.

Oh, I'm surprised ... a chance to make a movie with a name actor like David H. and you guys made a short? Why? How short is it?

Of course, if you get good response with it, maybe you can do a full feature.
Good luck.

When you have a professional actor like David volunteering his time, it wouldn't make much sense to ask him to commit to a feature.

The money for the short came from the fact that David attached himself to the script, such is the trend in Hollywood. Names = Clout.

In any case, we've submitted to Sundance, where we hope to premier, and I think our ultimate goal would be to maybe produce a series of these shorts and either compile a movie like Jim Jarmusch's "Coffee and Cigarettes" or perhaps distribute them as an iTunes channel or something of the sort.

It's so rare to find things on these forums actually shot on film... :-)

Looks great and best of luck. What was the final runtime?

Is this trailer cut out from footage from this video camcorder visible on 6th shot or is this from panavision cam ?

If you're implying that the quality of the trailer is crap, it's because it is. The trailer is cut from the original telecine, as we have not gone back in to do our high-res scan of the negative for our HD Master. Perhaps, once we've done that, we'll re-cut the trailer using the HD version. But until then, this is all we have to show.

I enjoyed it a lot. I used to watch Knight Rider every Friday night. I was a fan of the NBC Sci-Fi shows. Night Rider was the one that took off and I don't think they ever had another Sci-Fi show like it and surely not as successful until Heroes.

I like the way he comes in and he's all cool and laid back then he simply can't take anymore. He has to problem solve. LOL. Who was the waitress BTW she was a knock out.

That was great. Really enjoyed it - everything was well done, from cinematography to sound design.
