TM700 vs HF100 for consumer use

Hey guys
The law firm I work for needs an easily accessible camera to use. This won't be for our video content. This will be for "investigation" stuff. Needs to be super simple for anyone to pick up and use but also extremely easy for me to get the footage off and edit in FCP. I use an HVX for our online and commercial videos but that is way too extreme of a camera for the partners to take to a accident site or anything of that nature.
I have been looking at the TM700. How is the offload process compared to the HF100 (and the like) series? I am not a huge fan of the HF series and FCP... I wish you could just take the card out and click thru the scenes on a mac without having to transcode it in Imovie or FCP first... is the TM700 capable of that?
thanks

well i see that the TM700 is discontinued so I guess I need other suggestions...
ideally, they would bring the camera back to the office, i would pop the card out of the camera and put it in the SDHC slot on my MacBook Pro, then I would click on the card icon and be able to show them what they just shot throughout the day without having to take it into a particular program...
this is how i do it with my little ZI8 from Kodak...

you would say the tm900 is the best use of $1000 smackers? i see that best buy has the hf s20 for $650...

Yes. Here is my own biased consumer camera list, in order of ascending camera image quality...

$ 300 GoPro Hero
$ 437 Panasonic HDC-SD90
$ 990 Panasonic HDC-TM900
$1,500 Canon VIXIA HF G10

I chose the GoPro Hero because there are so many great ways to shoot ultra-wide-angle POV videos with this camera.

I chose the SD90 because it produces a good image and shoots 1080 60P. A friend bought one of these for family videos, and I was shocked at how good the image was considering the low price.

I chose the TM900 because it produces a sharp image with good color saturation, has a fairly good manual controls, and it also shoots 1080 60P.

I chose the G10 because it produces a good image and has very good low-light ability.
