Titles in 24P

How do you create titles in 24P? I'm editing some video shot in 24P Advance and when I created my title it said Upsupported Resolution. If anyone knows please help!!

Make sure resolution selected in the "save title" dialog box is DV25.

Thats what I'm trying, the only option for DV25 is DV25P 411 OMF. Maybe something is messed up in the settings?

Could be, look in the media creation settings and make sure it is set to DV25. If that's not working try making new user settings.

Everything is set to DV25 and still doesn't work. I even created new settings and the same thing happend. I also started a new project with no clips or anything and created a new title. The same error message comes up. This is pretty wierd. I just updated to OSX10.4 and since then Avid Xpress Pro hasn't been running the same. I might just have to uninstall is and go back to the way everything was before. Is there a reason why this would be happening?

What version of Xpress Pro are you running? Only v.4.8 is qualified for that OS.

Yeah, I downloaded the update for Avid then everything started messing up. v.4.8 is what I'm running.

I don't have a 25P option in my media creation settings either. I didn't know I needed that. I edit my 24P timelines using the DV25P 411 OMF setting.

That's the right resolution setting. I think there might be a 4.8.3 release but I need to check.

Hey man, thanks! I downloaded the update (4.8.2) and everything works just as normal. It also fixed that mp3 question I had awhile back. I'm pretty happy now. Been putting together a rough edit of my Documentary on the Bataan Death March (WWII) and it was just stressing me out. A friend was trying to push me over to FCP but I couldn't give up on Avid so fast, it's the best editing software out there by far.
