Title sequence from my short

Looks great. I love the look of it. Did you create the look in post or did you muck around with the camera settings as well? Good Job.

Nice cinematic feel. I like the smooth dolly work. What does your rig look like? Do you have any production photos?
Is the final version letterboxed with bars top and bottom?

hmm the link is working fine for me, it should prompt you to save to disk or open with quicktime, maybe try it again? As for the look, I forget my exact scene settings but I believe it was the standard f6 setting with the master pedestal set to -12 or so. half of the shots were shot close to sunset so they had a very nice warm look to them and the other half was after the sun had just went down so I used one of the warm filters in magic bullet to try to match the clips.

I know the font choice wasn't amazing, but the film has a very simple and plain feel to it so I thought it kind of matched (plus I'm horrible at any sort of graphic design type of stuff). For my dolly rig........ it's me holding my home made steady cam riding on my skateboard, ha. I've been filming skateboarding for about 6 years, so I guess it finally paid off. I shot the whole thing letterboxed in camera. For my next short I'm shooting @ 1:2.35 and I'm debating on whether to shoot in squeeze mode and add a mask or to try to do the photozoom pro method (any advice would be appreciated).

normally written 2.35:1. It's the cinemascope aspect ratio used in many, many films.

I shoot it squeeze and mask in post, works fine for normal TV viewing. Got really soft when I blew up to 20ft across.
