I'm going to be picking up a DVX100a for student/independent filmmaking in the next month or so. It will be my first big move up from a tiny 1 CCD chip cam.
Does anybody have any tips or advice for a new DVX100a owner?
Bryan,
I would suggest doing like myself and many others are doing. READ, READ, READ. Read your butt off. Spend hours reading posts from all the categories. Then get the camera. You'll probably have a good start then once you have it. And you won't have so many questions like "What's the clunking noise from inside the camera" and stuff like that. ~reservoir~
Reservoir is right. Read everything on this site. Unfortunately, many threads with useful information are missing since this website was updated. Hopefully they'll be added soon. But definitely research the site before posting a question. People here are extremely helpful but they can become irritated when newbies ask questions that are easily answered if you take the time to read the posts.
