Tip! Right angle HDMI connector

Well this isn't exactly rocket science, but I recently purchased this right angle HDMI connector off ebay to use with the F3 when I want to hook up a LCD monitor from 20-50 feet away and don't have to worry about camera moving around too much. My thought was if someone ever managed to step or pull on the cable at least this way it would yank the cable staight down instead of possibly damaging the HDMI port on the camera.

Anyway just thought I would share this simple idea.

I have one of those and I also secure the cable to the tripod or rail so if it is pulled it won't brake anything.

I got a full bag of these second day I got F3, on eBay of course... I use them basically to shorten the length of HDMI cables (less looping) that sit on my F3 permanently, to hook up EVF on various points of camera kit.
