Timestamp

Is there any way to remove a timestamp once it has been recorded on camera? While recording a Ballet- accidently had the timestamp feature on and it has since ruined the footage for my client. Is there anyway to remove this after the fact?

I'm pretty sure you are SOL. I wish it was an alpha channel but even if teh codec could handle that, legal video requires it to be hardcoded into the footage.
