Timeless Love Short Film

I flew on a helicopter over nyc. If you want to purchase the rights. I'd be more than happy to do so. I'm making a page for aerial shots. I'll give you the link once it's finished. The lighting in the subway station was just the actual lights in the subway. I couldnt really bring a lot of equipment cause the MTA sucks they'd charge $5000 to film for 2 hours on the platform and they'd require a $2 million dollar liability insurance (approx $500~$700/ day) and a 2$ million dollar insurance for the railroad safety. But I happened to find an area that didn't have many transit officers.

Thanks for your comment!

Wow, I am very impressed. The movie has a look and feel of a professional movie. Its amazing the type of things one can produce Hvx and M2. Loved the Guerilla type shooting, (Can you tell me what subway stop/entrance that was)? Also, how you pull of the Timesquare shots?

And yes, I too am interested in purchasing rights to some of those shots for an upcoming Student Indie film of my own. How soon will you have them up, and how much?

Good job!

I enjoyed the story told in the film.. you had characters that I wanted to learn more about and see how the film would end, so props for that!

Most of it was shot very nice... some of the subway footage had some focus problems (maybe the effect you were going for but seemed kind of off to me) for example the camera would be getting a two shot of the couple walking and keep going out of focus and then back in.

The scene with the guy playing the guitar in his room seemed like it was lit too flatly... I really liked the depth you had in some of your shots and then when it came to that shot it was a bit of a slap in the face.

Last observation would be that during one of the shots in the subway with the guy playing the guitar there was a hum in the background.. not sure if that is the actual subway or if it was actually the motor on the camera being picked up by your mic... did you use the onboard mic or a shotgun mic? If it was the motor on the camera, perhaps you could add a subtle soundtrack to cover it up.. or if you really wanted to leave music out for the mood you were trying to create, foley the whole scene! But that might be a bit too much unwanted work for you.

Other than that I really enjoyed the film. I can't wait to see more of your work in the future!
