HPX250: Timelapses..??

How exactly are you guys achieving timelapses in-camera with the 250, I can't figure it out?

Go into the recording setup menu, turn rec function to "interval", then use the "interval time" to set the rate of time lapse.
 
Some things prevent it -- things like having the camera in pN mode, or using FILM CAM, or 24p. Change to VIDEO CAM and set it to 720/30p or 720/60p or 1080/30p or 1080/60i and it'll work.
