Timelapse

I just shot this today..

mostly cause I am soooo freakin bored being at home.. and I wanted to see if I could find a decent composition... which I didn't... the framing here is crap in my opinion...

I am going to plant my camera outside for a whole day of timelapse soon.. I just need a nice sunny day with some great clouds..

anywho here is what I came up with.. I extracted a single frame from each half second of recording to make this..

Sunset

Master Ped. was set to -15 for this, I wanted a nice dark silouette.

awesome job.

only thing I noticed was that the camera was bumped or moved at about 3/4 of a second. Other than that, nice.

Cool. Timelapse is a blast. It's tough on your dvx though. Lots of time on the heads for only a small amount of footage. I recommend using a digital camera attached to a computer. You can capture single frames at various rates. Then suck the frames into your editor as a filmroll. There's posts somewhere on the board about doing this.

Yes, watch out for exposing your camera (CCDs) to the sun too long. treat it as you treat your eyes.
