GH4 Timelapse questions

Just getting started on the GH4 and struggling a little with the time lapse. Anyone know how to have it count up instead of needing to set a number of frames before starting? Sometimes you don't know when you want to stop. Also, once it starts at faster frame rates there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it without going to the menu which takes too much time to access before the next frame resets it again. How do I stop once I start? Seems like I'm missing something on both of these.

change the mode dial to movie mode and it will interupt the timelapse and ask if you want to do that.

If it's like the GH3, there's no way to do an infinite thing - you have to set the number of frames beforehand.

Also, you should be able to press one of the Fn buttons to pause it. There should be instructions on screen during the timelapse that tells you which button it is.
