When duplicating a tape from camera to camera or from the camera to a deck via firewire, is there a way to copy the timecode from the original to the dupe or a way to sync the timecode on the two tapes?
the DVX is the only prosumer camera that can do this, take external timecode, and is in the menu in VTR mode. So as long as you use 2 dvx's, or use playback to the DVX, you should be fine.
