Timecode output DVX 100B

Can anyone let me know if the DVX 100B will output timecde data via firewire? I was told by a colleague it does and just bought a in the box model. I just today read on aother booard that the 100B doe NOT output T/C on firewire which was make this purchase wrong for me. Anyone here uese FW to pump TC out to an external recorder?

Any feedback appreciated.

The DVXB TC out via firewire is for another DVXB TC sync & will not sync or generate TC to external recorder.
