Timecode issue? DVX100

The clip issue wouldn't lye in the camera. The editor would either make a single file or individual clips. When importing into FCP, it has always done one file, but iMove would break up the footage into clips. Are you using a different program? Could settings have been changed in the program's preferences?
 
he is referring to when capturing a single clip FC finds timecode breaks and then creates different clips for each break it finds, it has happened to me a few times i dont know to cause as i reset my TC and set to rec run before recording and during capture it finds TC breaks? basically if thats the issue there is nothing you can do for that tape and capture process but let FC make seperate clips???
