Timecode dubs to VHS?

Howdy again! I thought I read somewhere here before that I could make a Timecode dub to a VHS deck directly out of my 100a. I searched to no avail...anyone have any tips on accomplishing this? :undecided
Thanks so much!

Thanks Wesley, I understand ABOUT TC dubs but I don't see in your article how to get it out of my 100a. I have looked through the menu settings and don't see an option for outputting it. I would think it would be under the "display" settings for VCR mode from my camera, but no luck.
Anyone?
Thanks,
Curtis

VHS doesn't have TC.

Your best bet is to add a 2-pop somewhere 5-10 seconds into the VHS.

Or you can try to show your displays on the displays for DVX TC. Then free record that time-code onto the VHS.

Or run the DVX to a TC generator and have it show visible TC, then burn it in to the VHS player.

Just RCA out from camera to VHS in with your display menus showing.

With your camera in VCR mode go into the menu, go to DISPLAY SETUP, go down to VIDEO OUT OSD, and turn it ON. This basically outputs everything from the on screen display to the vcr.

Hope this helps....
