I was wondering if anyone out there had a problem with this. When using 'record check' it seems that the tape cues back up after viewing, but the timecode slips and is off a little bit.
Because of this, I decided not to use this function at all last weekend (wedding shoot), and I'm told by the editor that I still have timecode breaks. The camera is an original dvx100, about three years old now. Is it time for an overhaul, or does anyone out there have any nuggets of knowledge to share?
I've never had this problem in the past, it just started happening in the past six months or so......
