Good job. Out of curiosity since I'm working out these issues myself currently, how did you take care of licensing that music used in this web video (if a license was obtained)? Did you have your client deal with that?

Thanks for the responses, its appreciated. I have to say I was really happy with the camera on this shoot. It was a three person crew, pretty much run and gun (we had press passes, just short on time) with one camera and a tripod, no lighting used and basic audio gear. It is was really tight day and we only had about half a day to shoot it all, so I was happy about how fast I was able to move with it, especially shooting with only manual primes.

We discussed that with them on the shoot day, and I know they had to go through their legal dept, but I dont know the details on it as my partner did the edit and worked with them on the post side of the project... I believe our client obtained them, but am not sure exactly how they went about that and I never really cared to ask.

Nice work .. but shopping with chicks all day would probably do me in :-)

Yea, but having an AF100 along makes it a lot more bearable... j/k:grin:

Three more to go, with another early tomorrow, so I will post the rest as they are edited (we do a 24-48 hour turnaround) and released by them.

Both episodes look great. I watched the first couple of days ago. I just re-watched it a minute ago. Concerning the first episode. Since I am not a girl, my opinion means squat, but the only real issue I have is in the music. Re-watching it, I seemed to forget what kind of night out they were shopping for. Even though they constantly referenced it, and the title is self-explanatory, at the end, when they showcased the finished outfits and said they were ready for a night out, I thought, "wait, they were shopping for a specific type of night?". I tend to be seemless with a theme when I cut, so my opinion might be the cause of that. Since they are going for an outfit for a "jazz" night, there ought to be jazz playing in the background. Probably modern jazz, or free jazz. Upbeat. I think this secures what they were going for. The music playing makes me feel they're going to an after party or clubbing. The music does work, but I think it's the wrong kind.

But it was the client's choice.
