Time of Day Timecode?

I'm away from my camera right now, but I have a question regarding Timecode...
Can I record time-of-day as my timecode?

I'm looking for the easiest way to synch cameras that will start/stop at the operators' preference.

You can but you will eventually loose sync if it is two cameras. DVX's don't offer a way to sync timebase on a camera and that means that even if you set two camera exactly the same, they will drift and every-time you replace a battery you will cause more drift. But it's the best thing you can do.
