Time of day timecode. syncing? advice

Hi all,

I have two cameras running time of day timecode. both switch on and off throughout the scene.

what i would like to know is if it is possible to assemble each cameras clips in one long timeline puting camera 1 on v1 and camera 2 on v2, and then automatically align the time codes,

both multi group and auto sync don't seem to be appropriate.

Can any one give me any advice on this,

there is a lot of material to sync so manually doing it may not be appropriate.

is there a plug in or programme that could be of help,

i have tried plural eyes with no luck.

AutoSequence is a great little forgotten feature. I also have used the "dummy" clip workflow where I log a clip whole duration and timecode START/END encompass whatever clips you want to be part of the group clip. Then select all of them, including the dummy clip and make a group clip. From there I choose not to display or put on a second bank the dummy clip in the .grp clip.
