Shot this short with an HVX200 and Brevis combo. Would love some feedback/constructive criticism.

some quick details - Shot in 6 days with only two weeks pre-production (not my choice) which made my job hell. Budget of around $1000.

Very cool video... I thought I knew how it would end but then it didn't end that way at all... I NEED CLOSURE!
 
That's a very handsome film. It only cost $1000? Very impressive.

With that kind of budget, how did you get all those locations such as the library, the restaurant, and the doctor's office?

And how did you feed your cast and crew for six days?
 
Great job. I'd consider are running everything through Magic Bullet Looks or Mojo for more of a film look. Did you shoot this in 24?

Outstanding work, especially on your $1000 budget. Many people can't shoot something that good on a $10,000 budget.
 
all the locations were given to us for free to use. Our producer is wonderful and knew a lot of people who were willing to give us lots of stuff for free. A good producer can take nothing and make it something, and she definitely did that.

The budget was mostly food and post work. again, we had a lot of running around and elbow rubbing to get what we did for free. You'd be amazing at how much you can get for free, just by telling someone you're making a film.

I wasn't completely pleased with the editing of the film, and being the DP, it wasn't how i would have done things, but that was out of my hands. There's a lot I would have done differently if I was the director, including the ending. But again, not my call on a lot of things.
