Time-Lapse

Okay, First things first, I did not purchase the used camera that I posted about. Last week I purchased a new USA model HVX200PJ from an authorized Panasonic Dealer on Barry's list

I want to do some time-lapse of traffic in my community. I am using mini-DV and have been shooting in 480/60i. What settings would you recommend to get some nice traffic flow with moving clouds in the sky?

Best all around time lapse setting for me has been one frame every 2 seconds.
A frame every 5 seconds results in very fast but not very fluid cloud movement.
Shutter speed around 1/15 or 1/30 . ND filters on and a polarizer if you have one.One thing to note however - I don't think time lapse is possible with Mini DV, P2 only.
