Time-Lapse

I cant seem to find out how to set up my camera to do time-lapse, I remember reading it in the manual but that's at home and I'm at work HELP!!

Have you looked in the menus under RECORDING SETUP?
It is called INTERVAL REC: this turns it on and off
REC TIME is the duration per shot
INTERVAL TIME is the time between shots

One more thing, time-lapse only works in interlace mode. I'm not sure about 30p but 24p will not let select the interval record settings.

Hmmm... I've not tried it in 24p.

However, I did a shoot a few weeks ago and used the interval recording feature in 30p with no problem.

IIRC, it should work in 30P, but definitely won't in 24P.

I dont think my DVC80 has a time lapse feature :'(

The DVC80 is missing a lot of features the DVX100 has, including, apparently, the ability to turn off the ALC.

Oh well... Im just glad it's missing $1300 off the price tag!!!
