Time Lapse (Video Mode) TEST

Just shot this video yesterday. Wanted to test out and see how time lapse would look on video mode of the GH2. This was shot at 1080 24p. Let me know if there is any thing that I can do to make this better.

Honestly... For simplicity reasons this mode works well, but most DSLR timelapses that are breathtaking are done with pictures and not video. This provides you with a higher resolution image to crop some if needed. You'll probably want a remote to use with the GH2. Check out the video I'm linking and also visit their forums on their website. It will get you a TON of useful information that isn't exactly ever covered on dvx due to the nature of it.

Didnt test video timelaps so far, but doesnt work the true i.e. 1/2 shutter speed recording for low light ? Max, what methode did you use for your video 300% or lower shutter speed ?

I did not use the 300%. I went with the 1/2 shutter speed and used a variable nd filter for the beginning. There was one guy that did use the 300%, I will try locate it.

Btw what is going on with video if you choose the M modus for stills, seems like you can choose all the shutter speeds available but after pressing the video record button I see Auto Iso. So I guess video is switching to iA in M mode for stills ?

Anyone ? What is the gh2 actually doing with video in M modus for stills - how is shutter effected by AutoISO and how the gh2 captures video in this mode. Wonder why you can even use the video function in still mode and if very slow shutter actually works. Didnt find much about that in the manual.

How do one take say 1000 pictures and upload them so the software automatically makes a video? Does Photoshop have this function?
