Re: TIME LAPSE RECORDING ?

First, just an etiquette point, please do not type all in UPPER CASE. It comes across as if you are yelling.

As for time lapse information, look in the manual on page 60, intermittent recording. Also, there is a lot of information on this board. Please try using the search option (link at the top of the page) before posting a question. If you do search, you will find several discussions about time lapse recording.

Cheers!

Re: TIME LAPSE RECORDING ?

You might consider a program like Scenalyzer ( www.scenalyzer.com ). Connect your camera to a laptop and turn on the DVX. You don't need to roll tape, just montior the standby image over Firewire. You can set up scenalyzer to capture every nth frame, and drop others. It will save wear and tear on your record heads from all starting and stopping.

Scenalyzer is a Windows app, but I'm sure there are similar programs for the Mac.
