Time lapse on HVX - 24P or 24PN?

I need to do a time-lapse shot using my HVX. Ideally the DP would like it in 720/24PN but I'm not sure if that's possible on this camera. I thought I'd post on here and see if anyone has experience with this...any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Daniel

Interval mode, which is normally used for time lapse, cannot be enabled in
the native mode (Pn). I believe that the frame rate hack method of doing time lapse only works in native mode, so it would be the way to go.

I just searched the forums and saw mention of frame rate hack...please explain that to me. Is it a software patch for the HVX or a NLE system? Or is it something I do in camera.
Also, I will probably be using a FS-100 V.4.0 instead of P2 cards. What type of setup should I have on the FS-100? Anything out of the ordinary?

Thanks!

fs 100 v4 is necessary , the camera has to be in 720/24p NOT PN mode. and the firestore has to be in timelapse mode but make sure the file type is quicktime only. not quicktime PN.

everything is else is normal between the fs100 and the HVX.
