time laps setting 4 hours

is there a chart or something that gives settings for time laps on hvx 200?
i need to do about a 4 hour time laps. Would like to know the best settings to capture...

It all depend on the subject matter and how quickly its moving. I think it would be hard to lock down a chart on something that has so many variables. For instance, just shooting cloud lapses could be at completely different speeds depending on how fast the weather is moving. Of the top of my head I would say always have the camera take more frames than you need just for options if you are uncertain.

The subject is a process of a vehicle being worked on for about 4 hours. they are adding a wrapping around the car. the client wants to capture the transformation via time-laps. they client said the process takes about 4-5 hours...

Set the shutter lower, (1/2 - 1/12) if you want a "whirlwind" type effect seen here:
