Hey guys am a dvxuser, but its now time for me to upgrade
thinking about getting a HVX200 I saw a lot of footage out there I like,
and I think this might be the camera for me,I would be using it for short films, music videos, and, and TV interviews .
I saw the new Sony EX1 I thought the image was a little better, but I keep reading
That these cameras have a lot of problems.
can somone give me three good reasons why I should get the Panasonic HVX200,
and not the ex1 thank you in advance .

How many of those things you've read about the EX1 problems have come from owners? Because quite frankly, 99% of the owners I've spoken to LOVE the camera and the images it produces.

I'd hate to say it, but you would serve yourself well by searching the forum a little. This exact topic has been discussed ad infinitum.

That said, it depends on what you need the camera for. HVXs are great. The EX series seems to serve well too.

When you say you want an HVX200, I would hope that you mean an HVX200a. They are the same price (list price), but the 200a has a better image with less noise and better low-light capabilities. Other than that, I would definitely agree with the other posters that you should search through these forums to see pro's and con's of each camera. I personally like the P2 workflow with the 200 and 200a, but I have no experience with the EX1.
