Time Date HELP!!!!

For as long as I've owned my HVX200's (like from the beginning) I've never had to use the Time/Date stamp right embeded on the video. Well, last week, I had to film an all day "Day in the Life" and I recorded it all to my P2 cards at 480i 60.

It all worked great, and my client needed it all put to DVD's which I did. They just called me this afternoon to tell me how great the video was, but where is the TC?

I'm of course in transit (Phoenix to San Francisco) so I couldn't check things out until I arrived. Here is what I found. If you turn off the Time/Date Stamp, then when you play the video, it doesn't have the embedded TC, but all you have to do is turn it on, and there it is.

MY question is :"How do I get it print that same TC onto a DVD"? One has to assume that the code is still on the P2 card, but I have to figure out how to get the DVD to decode it.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It turns out that the HVX200 doesn't embed the video Time/Date stamp, only the 170 does. The simple solution is either to just burn TC with the TC Generator onto the existing footage, or turn on the Time/Date stamp, and also the screen output display and just burn it directly to a DVD Recorder, Tape, etc...
