I capture from my hvx 200 into FCP on my macbook pro via firewire. The Macbook is connected to a 1 terabyte firewire hard drive.
I can't get timecode when capturing this way.
I use easy setup for 1080 60i DVCPRO HD.
If I choose DVCPRO HD firewire in the capture preset, I get a message, "Waiting for timecode".
If I choose "Noncontrollable device", It captures fine, but without timecode.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
