Time Code on HVX200 101. HELP

Can someone tell me what is wrong or could go wrong with the setup please ?


a) Set both [FONT=arial, arial, helvetica]The Denecke Slate and HVX200 to free run.

b) Set Tascam HD-P2 recorder to read Time Code from the Denecke Slate
.
c) Sync everything in FCP

or am i better off with saving more money and getting the SD 702 T ???

The hvx200 seems to be the weakest link here is it not ???

go with sd 702 t
then you will not need tc slate at all , wouldnt have problems with power downs on tascam and rejeming isues

and be happy with your life
free run on both devices , slating every couple of hours or after battery change .
