I just inherited a DVX100A with user presets from the previous user. I would like to setup my own presets and the area that is confusing me is the TC. I did some tests using 24p and 24p advance which let me know that I had some issues. In FCP6 I noticed in my captured footage that selected sections once placed in the timeline would change. My question is, since I am doing tests, meaning shooting footage, taking the cassette in and out of the camera (progressively moving forward on the tape, not rerecording over the same section) what would I choose for TC? I will be using 24p advance. Thanks.
