Time Code? Could someone help?

Would someone be willing to help me answer this question about the camera?

"I glanced through the manual, and I'm not convinced it has actually implements TC that interfaces with any other equipment. If it has Word Clock output, it may interface usefully with my recorder. I can receive LTC and wordclock."

Sounds like an email from a soundman.

The HD100 doesn't output independent TC, nor does it jamsync to anything else.

If you're doing double system sound, then just have the soundman run his own TC and use a TC slate to sync each take in post. That's all you can get with this cam.

Honestly though, I'd screw double system sound and just have him feed the inputs on the camera. Use his DAT or whatever he's got as backup. Making low-budget production more complicated than necessary is just headaches...and you'll have enough of them as it is without tech issues.
