Time and Date stamp?

Does anyone know if the HVX has a time and date stamp option?

If it does, will it have military time capability?

I will need the camera to serve more purposes than filmaking. I can justify buying one camera this year, not two.

I hope someone can answer this.
 
Jan's probably the only one capable of giving a definitive answer. However, as a reasonable guess I'd say "definitely". The DVX offers user bits as well as timecode; you can stamp the time of day into DVX footage in two ways -- either by using time-of-day timecode, or by setting the user bits to record the time/date stamp.

I can't see why the HVX wouldn't offer at least that much capability.

But again, until we see an owner's manual for the HVX, that's just a guess.
