The Tilta plate I bought new, the Sony plate Ive had for years (it shows its age but still is in perfect working order)
This is a VERY robust camera mounting setup. There is a little bit of shoulder pad that rubbed away on the bottom of the Tilta plate, does not affect use of the plate at all.
