Any Mac users out there upgraded to Tiger? I'm hearing great things in general , but want to hold off out of fear that it will not play nicely with my Avid Express DV 4.6.

In advance, I'd ask that people not turn this thread into a Mac v PC thread, as I'm just interested in hearing some of the nuts and bolts examples of how people are using the new features, some bugs they have encountered, and specificially if anyone has ventured to use Avid software with Tiger.

You will want to wait for the release due in a week or so that will be the XPress Pro release for Tiger. Any version before that will not play nicely at all.

thank you for the quick response. I have avid express dv version 4.6. any timelines in place for a tiger compatible update to the non-pro version?

Dont know but ill tell you that TIGER rules for sure. Best OS to come out to date by FAR. I even used Windows Vista Beta 1 and that still doesn't have anything on TIGER!
