Check this out... this was shot on the DVX100a, and used PPRO 1.5.1 to edit.

Please feel free to rate and leave your comments.... but hey, we've entered this into the contest, so please be don't judge the work on it's technical merit...

There was a commercial that actually ran last year about a stain screaming and interrupting a guy while he talked to a boss or someebody at work. This spot also ran in the superbowl.
 
Yea, that 'stain' commercial ran during the Super Bowl last month.

Was it a contest where you had to put a new spin on the stain? Use the stain as an element? Keep the whole 'stain' campaign alive?

Funny. A little late, but still funny to those who can remember the Monica Lewinski thing.

technical: overall it's pretty well done, but in the beginning, the pen actually goes in through the stain to reveal a gap between the stain and the shirt. Close though, maybe just people who edit for a living (& DVXusers) will notice stuff like that.

Yeah, the concept was laid down by Tide. They wanted us to use the same stain gimmick. I have no clue at all about how to do animation graphics. I took their photo of a stain and bent it a bit (gif file) and simply stuck that into the time line. The graphics were very lame. But you have to love the ending. This spot didn't make the top ten. I didn't mind until I saw the real crap that did. oh well... I think it was a little toooo adult for Tide. Funny, but wild. But hey, isn't that the whole point of advertising? Push the envelope a little bit?

The topic is going on 8 years old now, I'd say it's a little dated. Now change Bill to the mayor from Albany and it's little more current........
Just my opinion. I did get a laugh at the end but I'm old.
 
actually it's the 10 year aniversary. I thought it would cool because Hillary is in the running....
...but it is the "ultimate stain"
