Shooting 480i 24P (not PA) to mini DV this weekend for a marathon 12 hours straight.(that's what the client wants...mini DV tape, OK he's da boss) Should I use the thick or thin setting? (or mid for that matter) The tests I shot look a lot less jaggy and flickery in thick mode on my traditional Sony CRT. I don't see much rez loss (a little softer for sure) It will be broadcast in SD on cable next weekend so I don't want to throw the editor a curve. Any suggestions would be appreciated.:dankk2:
