Thoughts on the new Canon lenses

[Noel Evans]

Had a thorough play with them today at Interbee. These lenses did NOT breathe LESS than their fujinon counter parts. The images were clean. The focus ring though to me was as sloppy as hell.

Anyone else tried them and thoughts?

Well anyway - Ive pretty much decided to stick with the Fujinons and will add the the HD Super Cine HAe12x9.5 to the arsenal - weather that be via purchase or rental who knows, Im not seeing anywhere locally with the lens rentals right now - doesnt mean there isnt, could be I just havent found them.

wanted to try the canon lenses for my 500 but can't seem to get a hold of any in my part of the world (canada) so had an easy choice of opting for the Fujinon 2x CAC they offered. happy with the fujinon though!
