Thoughts on Sigma 20mm 1.4

Wanted to know if anyone has used Sigma 20mm 1.4 with Canon mount and what your thoughts are? I am looking for something that wide or wider around $500 range (less if used) that is less than f1.8

Thoughts?
 
Is there a 20 1.4?

I was under the impression that 20 1.8 was the largest aperture 20mm made (also by sigma)

I have also seen that is it quite soft until 2.8
 
I own the 20mm 1.8 and use it on my Canon 5D Mark II.

I'd rate the lens a 7/10. I don't use it a lot, especially not for film since the ultra-wide nature makes it unnatural looking (but hey, you might have a point to use it because of that very feature).
