Thought I'd Share.

For the past hour I've been going through 2 shoe boxes full of dv tapes looking for this one tape I might be able to repurpose for work. Whatever doesnt matter. I've found all this old footage from high school college etc. Then I found this unlabeled tape. Its the first stuff I ever shot on my DVX. On my roof of an old apt in manhatten just shooting steam and the sun setting, stuff like that. It brought be back to how important that camera was for all the work ive done since and how amazed I was when i first shot that 20 mins on the roof. Non the less. Now moving on to the HVX i'm sure im gonna have that same feeling all over again. Hopefully this makes sense. Maybe i sound like a wimp, but its friday i had a couple of beers.

ha ha yeah jesse.. I here you. Its felt like a dream the last week.. Its a whole new world out there, an HD world, and the HVX will be the first HD camera alot of people will shoot with.

So go back to the beers , watch the clips and read the new brochure a couple times.. its almost here.
 
You freakin wimp ! Just kidding man. I know the feeling. I remember my old dusty hi8 tapes I found a while back. Stuff that I shot with in high school when I worked at the Dairy Queen for six hard months as a 14 year old, just to save up enough pocket change to buy my first one chip ES6000 canon hi8 camera. Things were never the same after that.

Just think though, after you get your HVX, you won't have boxes and boxes of tapes to look through, instead they will be replaced with boxes and boxes of hard drives and blu-ray discs and p2 cards when they are as cheap as toilet paper and everyone has medicare
 
Looking through many of my old tapes reminds me of how slutty the women I used to date were, and how I lacked a tan on my buttox. :happy:

AMAZING. I've tried to film my butt but can never twist around far enough.:cheesy:
