dominic, if you'll use it mainly for film making, you won't need the zoom lens (focus pulling is quite a task with HDSLR). i suggest that get the body only then get some cheap primes. the 50mm lens when used in GH1 will be 100mm (2x crop factor) so you'll get your zoom there. then buy that son of the witch lumix 20mm 1.7 lens.

I agree. Dont use my kit lens at all since investing in some FD primes.
