Those were the days...

[Pookie]

[PerroneFord]

Oh look. There's a telephone number AND a Telex number!

[Jon Starr]

What's Telex?

Hehe, 10 Megabytes of storage. Just you wait, the next gen are going to be walking around with 5 dollar petabyte sticks, and they'll laugh when we had to spend 100$ for a gig stick.

[greeches]

They don't make magnets like that anymore....

[Terry_Lasater]

8 bit for under $3,500!

[elsmama]

I thought I was stylin' when I found a good deal on a 10 MB Hdd back in the day - put it in myself. That was also when RAM looked like bits of silicon with teeth.

Pookie, I think you may be my soul mate - or at least as old as I am!

[Hawk Teflon]

Petabyte?! Sounds like something Chris Hansen would have you "take a seat" for.

[pixelated]

My first 10Mb drive was a Control Data Hawk - $12,355.

Gawd, I am old. . . . . .

[hvpz]

Perfect for the new macbook air !

[Barry_Green]

Petabyte?!

No joke, Sony used to offer a storage system called the "Petafile". The name was not well received in the marketplace.

[Jim Brennan]

[Hawk Teflon]

Ha ha ha! I'm seriously crying from laughing! Who in the world thought this would be a good idea?!

"Petafile ... sounds familiar. That'll catch on. Copyright it!"
