With a demo of Illusion 3 and some sound effects, it's amazing what you will do to yourself.

And yes, as the wife pointed out, throwing oneself out of a chair three times to get a good cut does indeed hurt like hell at age 34.

DivX5 format, using After effects and Sound Forge, and way too much free time. 2.4 megs.

At least I didn't land on a Yellow Jackets nest this time around. Damn things.

Enjoy all.

Oh, I guess I should point out that this is the very first footage I have posted here. Shame on me.

Twas Kool. The FX was very nicely done. when you went from long shot to closeup, your hands switched positions (ok, I tend to look for things like that). But still kool.

That made my night hahaha. The grass in the foreground looks so large it almost looks as if the characters were composited and look like tiny people.

Thanks all. I haven't cut my grass in two months, and have no intention of doing so. Just woke up with a back ache from hell.

I didn't notice the things with the hands. heh. good one.

That was shot all impropmto with my wife on the camera, in one shot. Then it was diced up and sent to vegas for sound editing and then back to AE for the fnal blend of audio and video.

I just watched it again, and feel like a dork, but it seemed sane at the time.

At least I brushed up on my sound skills. Haven't done that much sound of late.

Thanks all and keep on watching and commenting on the visuals and sounds.

EDIT: That was shot 60i, and the exaggerated motion blur was a result of that fun little technique I write about using two layers of mismatched field interpretation.

That was cool, I have one comment though, I can see the split in the middle of the screen at the very beginning

Works as long as you dont have version 7 yet

If there is enough call for it i'll put up a quicktime, but the file size will be larger.

Moe: The tripod wan't completely locked, and it was just for fun. It would be an easy fix though.
