Those cadillac commercials

The ones with that black sedan they sell. There are two commercials basically, one with a girl and one with a guy. I like the commercial, but, they're dubbing in the voices right? as in from other artists, right?

The girl that talks about "when you turn your car on, does it return the favor?" is the actual lady and the actual voice. I'm not sure of her name, but she was in Gray's Anatomy for a bit and now has her own show.

dang. wrong again...
whadoIknow.

I HATE all the recent Cadillac commercials. They are just awful. It's just 30 seconds of money hungry, b-c list, celebrities rambling on about how amazing this extremely expensive car is and how great it will make your life if you fork out the dough.

Awful, awful commercials.

Perhaps, you're not their target demographic.

The writing is dumb, but the choreography between sound and image in the girl's one (I think it's the one with the SUV) is really excellent - when the base beat kicks in and it cuts to the shot of the streets streaming by - I think that's a very cool shot set perfectly to a matching beat.

Maybe one day cars will be really loaded with features... "when you grab the stick-shift... does your car return the favor?"

I can see people revving down the highway in 3rd gear... hands at 10 and 2... staring intently down the road.

I don't see a whole lot of difference between them and any other commercial. I think there are better things to spend your time worrying about. :)
