Is anyone here planning on going? ...I was gonna try to make it, but I wanted to see if anyone else here is gonna go, and on which day...

I would love to go, 'cept i'm up in Canada. :)

My short, "Sweden on $8 a Day" is screening. I shot it with a PD150 last spring. (Before I got my DVX100A).

check it out here: http://sweden.blazingoat.com

Anyone who attends the festival, let me know how it goes!

I noticed that "Art History" is screening as well.

p.s. sadly like Jarred said we can't attend...but if any DVXer feels like attending and letting us all know how it went I would be very curious...

Re: This weekend, DVX100a on screen @ MiniDV Festi

I just got back from the film festival. It was cool and all but it was a BIT_CH to find!!! (Took me like a half hour to find the damn place!) Saw some pretty cool vids, but nothing to call home about, I probably should have stayed longer. (Didn't see Art History because I already have it)
...It just seemed like this event was executed wrong. I felt like the number of people that were there that had movies showing ( i.e. checking out thier flicks) was greater than the number of people who came out of thier own free will. A great event none-da-less, I just hope that next year it has a better turnout...
