It's been a crazy year for us and now with post production wrapping up, I just wanted to post a link to a teaser for our 2nd Feature Film PLACEBO:

www.placebomovie.com

It is one of the first feature films shot on the HD Andromeda System (ReelStream). This is a system that makes a modification to the DVX in which it taps in to the 3 CCDs and output uncompressed HD. Voids the warrenty, but we got our camera used anywany.

We are pretty excited about it. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for reading.

Nice!

Did you shoot this with an adapter?

What record LUTs did you use?

Do you have an HD version for download?

I... hmm. I'm not sure what to make of this. Our friend Shane's theory of alchohol itself not causing drunkenness is both absurd and ignorant; however, I do want to hear what his theory is, and find out more about him as a character. Interesting, if not slightly ridiculous.

the shot of the guy through the glass then picking it up was probably my favorite. it all looked really really good. i'm really interested in seeing the finished version.

Hey man! i love the trailer. Great music. Is it original? Also did you use an adapter. Love the editing as well. Very energetic. Works well with the music. One more thing. how did you create the titles?

The scene when he's at his desk and the camera looks to dolly around him at a high speed. Was that a dolly? I ask because I would like to know if you have developed a run and gun setup with the Andromeda.

WOW man i loved it
the Andromeda is a beautiful thing when put into the hands of someone that can really use it. Everything looked incredible
I actually like the idea... it has a lot of potential and really want to see the film now

Wow. After watching your trailer I was blown. (whoops, forgot to say "away").

This is the first trailer/reel I've seen that feels completely perfect. Every shot looks really good, the editing was super tight and loved the music. Did you make that, or use an existing song - either way, it was perfect. Great job - can't wait to see the DVD! Hope it gets picked up!

I'm floored.... Show us your secrets. That was the most filmic footage I've seen from DVX. Amazing, truly amazing. PLEASE, tell us more.

Thank You!!!

Thank You!!!

Thank you all so much for the feed back. It was indeed shot on a DVX100B, but like I said we used the Adromeda System which is uncompressed HD, as well as a Red Rock Micro 35 adaptor.

I wish I could tell you all our secrets, but I wouldn't do it justice. It's all about my director...he has an amazing vision and builds crazy homemade rigs. He also researched everything availible to him to make sure he gets the best look possible. I can say we had an extremely small crew, and post production is mainly done by two people.

As for those questioning the plot. You have to see the film.

Can you give some details on that camera package. At least as far as what monitor you used and on set computer? Mac mini? how did you hook it up? Any other details. Im ready to go with the andromedia package so I'm looking for some reviews.
