For some reason I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the Kelvin number for WB. In the quick menu it doesn't allow me to adjust it. I know it's easy, but I'm missing something. Help! :)

Look at the back of the camera. Pressing Quick View you can assign what you want displayed by QV by using the left and right scroll keys. WB is an option. Another way is to press the right key that says WB and that will also give you a choice of what kind of WBing you want. Select k, then press the up button to access the parameters.

I usually use the quick menu to do ISO changes and therefore use the dedicated WB key. But either way works.

Sounds like your WB button has been assigned the Focus Assist magnification. Go into the menu and reassign the WB Fn key to WB. After doing that, you can select the Kelvin WB setting, press up arrow to get to the scale and dial in your Kelvin temperature.

Thank you, I think that is what I was looking for!
