i have a timeline edited it in premiere pro 2.0 and didnt feel like re editing the same video in vegas so i exported it as a uncompressed avi movie file and it kept its aspect ratio and frame rate.

i imported this movie file into a widescreen 24p timeline in vegas and i think it resized the clip to 4x3 for some reason because there are verticle black bars on the left and right of the video.

i remember this happening once before and i think i clicked something and it like stretched it out into the whole 16x9 preview window and it looked fine, i just dont know what i did.

anyone know what im talking about?
 
Right-click the clip in the bin and check its properties, and see what its aspect ratio is set to; change it to 16:9 if necessary.
